I’m not implying that Climate Change isn’t nor has happened. The Climate has changed since the beginning of this planets development. The recent activity of The Ring of Fire should give notice to us all, that WE will not be the major contributor to climate change /global warming. If a large volcanic eruption were to occur no amount of $$money$$ is gonna have an impact on stopping it or cleaning up the atmosphere when it’s done erupting. Let alone if it were just one volcano and not multiple eruptions. Should we change many of our bad habits? Of course; but being told what to do by “the powers that be” and their puppets is old and insulting.

Indonesia Plane Crash

The emergency declaration in the United States lets the government free more money (out of thin air) for antiviral drugs and give some previously unapproved tests and drugs to children. One-quarter of the national stockpile of 50 million courses of antiflu drugs will be released (what was the number of dead from the 1918 pandemic again?… oh yeah 50 million, curious) . Border patrols and airport security officers are to begin asking travelers if they have had the flu or a fever; those who appear ill will be stopped, taken aside and given masks while they arrange for medical care.( Just what will that MEDICAL CARE entail? Shots maybe?)

Indoor ice arenas with poorly maintained ice-resurfacing machines and inadequate ventilation are creating potentially dangerous health hazards for players, coaches, fans and workers at rinks in several states around the country, according to an investigation by ESPN’s “E:60.”
In the past six months, nearly 200 people have been sickened by carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide or ultrafine particles emitted from poorly maintained ice resurfacers at indoor ice arenas.

“E:60″ conducted its own series of tests at 34 rinks in 14 states. Of the 28 rinks that used propane or natural gas resurfacers, nearly one-third were found to have dangerous levels of carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide or ultrafine particles.
Last December, carbon monoxide poisoning at a rink near Indianapolis sent 10 people to the hospital. In January, firefighters evacuated a rink outside Denver when carbon monoxide levels reached 10 times what’s considered dangerous. In March, fumes from a poorly maintained ice resurfacer sent 100 people to the hospital and forced four teams to withdraw from a college tournament outside Cleveland.

Chen Zhenlin, a vice director with the China Meteorological Administration (CMA), made the statement Tuesday afternoon at a press conference held at the Beijing International Media Center.

Meteorological departments will consult with the Beijing municipal government whether or not to change the city’s weather, should there be any unfavorable weather on August 8, Chen said. more at link

Los Angeles to seed clouds for rainLOS ANGELES, June 18 (UPI) — Los Angeles County officials say they will spend $800,000 to inject clouds with silver iodide particles in an effort to boost rainfall.

The cloud-seeding project will be conducted next winter in the San Gabriel Mountains with the hope of increasing rainfall by 15 percent to raise levels in local reservoirs, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday. Critics said they fear the program could trigger landslides.

A 2003 National Academy of Sciences report said cloud seeding is unproven and urged more thorough study, the newspaper said.

“To have them be in the right place at the right time, that’s where it gets really complicated,” said Daniel W. Breed of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colo.

Where I am we have had serious spraying for the past few days and the weekend looks to be sunny and warm, thanks to the alchemists of the sky. Granted I’ve been irritable as all hell due to the spraying and many around me are suffering from respiratory problems; but hey who cares, the people in those Ice Rinks are getting sick and going to the hospital.

Chaos vs. Order

Hearken back with me for a moment, lets go back to an alternate beginning from what many in our consensus trance’d society take for the ‘truth’, as it were. The early Mesopotamian cosmological tale of Tiamat

Before the world as we know it was created, said the Babylonians, there was only Tiamat, the dragon goddess of salt waters and Her consort Apsu, god of the fresh sweet water. Both represent the idea of chaos that precedes form and order, which are the foundation of upon which civilization rests. Tiamat and Apsu are the parents of all the Great Gods and Goddesses of Babylon, who came forth from Tiamat´s almighty womb. Tiamat was the “shining” personification of salt water who roared and smote in the chaos of original creation. She and Apsu filled the cosmic abyss with the primeval waters. She is “Ummu-Hubur who formed all things”. No pictures are known of Her, but She is normally said to be a fierce Dragoness in form, or the personification of the Untame, Primeval Forces of the Universe before established order.
Tiamat and Marduk

In this story it is said that before the time of the gods and the world there was nothing but a waste of chaotic waters ruled by Apsu and Tiamat, a dragon-like creature. As time passed gods were created in hopes of bringing order to this chaos. In the myth recorded on cuneiform tablets, the deity Enki (later Ea) believed correctly that Apsu, upset with the chaos they created, was planning to murder the younger deities; and so slew him. This angered Kingu, their son, who reported the event to Tiamat, whereupon she fashioned monsters to battle the deities in order to avenge Apsu’s death. These were her own offspring: giant sea serpents, storm demons, fish-men, scorpion-men and many others. Tiamat possessed the Tablets of Destiny and in the primordial battle she gave them to Kingu, the god she had chosen as her lover and the leader of her host. Tiamat waged war against Ea and the other gods and was successful in stifling their efforts until Marduk was born. Marduk was the strongest and the wisest of the gods and was elected to deal with Tiamat once and for all. Upon summoning the powers of all of the other gods, Marduk went to war with Tiamat. Tiamat was no match for Marduk and all of his powers. Marduk caught her in his net and when she opened her mouth to breath fire at him, he let loose the four winds which filled her up rendering her defenseless . Marduk then speared her with a lightning bolt, split her in two and raised half of her body to create the sky and with the other half created the earth. Her weeping eyes became the source of the Tigris and the Euphrates. With the approval of the elder deities, he took from Kingu the Tablets of Destiny, installing himself as the head of the Babylonian pantheon. Kingu was captured and later was slain: his red blood mixed with the red clay of the Earth would make the body of humankind, created to act as the servant of the younger Igigi deities. There is no exorcism of Tiamat, She exists, somehow, just as the Abyss exists and is perhaps indispensable to human life if we think of her as typifying the female quality of Energy. Although Marduk was responsible for halving the Monster from the Sea, the Sumerian Tradition has it that the Monster is not dead, but dreaming, asleep below the surface of the earth, strong, potent, dangerous, and very real. Her powers can be tapped by the knowledgeable, ‘who are skillful to rouse Leviathan’.

This is a classic example of a male deity slaying a female dragon or serpent-like monster in an attempt to replace a cooperative, “chaotic” natural order with a hierarchical, paternal, and often monotheistic system.

Let us begin with my indoctrination as a christian when I was a young child age 9. Lutheranism was the christian cult upon which my lessons began. I had to begin attending various religious institutions for a merit badge as a member of the cub scouts, and my parents thought it time to start attending some church as a family. They left the choice of which to me, so I began the search by attending various religious institutions in my area (Catholic, Presbyterian, Latter Day Saint, etc.) but found some level of comfort only at the ‘Good Shepard Lutheran Church’ in my home town. Sunday’s became a chore after the first year, Sunday school most especially. I wanted to stay down stairs and listen to the full sermon, what the adults were talked to about ( I also wanted to stay home and watch the NFL, or go outside and play). Instead I had to listen and take tests on biblical characters and their achievements ( as if I was not taking enough tests at the other indoctrination center). I recall many an incident with myself and the instructor at odds with one another, I asked too many questions…years latter many of those same questions persist.

So throughout my life there has been constant strife in Palestine/Judea, whatever THEY want to call it. As far as I can surmise there has been constant strife for recorded history there. Steaming from this notion that GOD told some people who were “Exiled Slaves” (With all those weapons and that special box o’ treats)

that you get THIS land and go ahead and kill “anything that breaths”.

Australian paper suspends columnist over slur

SYDNEY, Australia (JTA) — A London-based columnist who blamed Israel for the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks was suspended by the Australian newspaper that published his article.

Backman wrote in his column, “We have paid for Israel’s failure with bombs on London public transport, bombs in bars in Bali and even the loss of the World Trade Center towers in New York.”

JAN 17 — There’s a memorable scene in the Stephen Spielberg film “Munich”. After the 1972 Munich Olympic Games killings of Israeli athletes, Prime Minister Golda Meir tells confidants she wants to show the plotters that killing Jews “is expensive”. She then organizes for the assassination of each of the plotters.

Today, it is Israel itself that has become expensive. Most directly, it is very expensive to the US, which subsidises and arms it.

But Israel’s utter inability to transform the Palestinians from enemies into friends has imposed big costs on us all. We have paid for Israel’s failure with bombs on London public transport, bombs in bars in Bali, and even the loss of the World Trade Centre towers in New York.

It is not true that these outrages have occurred because certain Islamic fundamentalists don’t like Western lifestyles and so plant bombs in response. Rather, it is Israel — or more correctly the treatment of the Palestinians — that is at the nub of these events.

The world’s Muslims have no head: no overarching caliph or pope equivalent exists — no single power source with whom to negotiate. Instead, Islam is remarkably decentralised. So, how extraordinary that Israel and the West have managed to unite this headless, diverse, dispersed grouping without any institutional framework, around just one issue — anger at the treatment of the Palestinians.

Otherwise dispersed groups of Muslims do seem to feel for one another in a way that Christians and others do not. In this respect, the international Islamic community is like a body: kick it in the leg and the rest of the body feels it. Kick it hard enough and the entire body will be energised to defend itself. Pictures of distraught Gazan mothers beside the mutilated bodies of their children are circulating right now among Muslim communities worldwide. It is pictures like these that make them want to do something.

Consider Malaysia. Every citizen of this outpost of Islam has printed in his or her passport that the passport is not valid for Israel. And given that Malaysians are not allowed to hold dual citizenship, this essentially means that every Malaysian citizen, including the 40 per cent who are not Muslims, are banned from visiting Israel.

“When will Malaysia recognise Israel?” I once asked the then finance minister. “Once Israel treats the Palestinians better,” was his reply. How would he determine that? “When the Palestinians tell us,” he said. It is not Israel’s right to exist that is at issue.

The enmity many Muslims now feel for Israel has nothing to do with religion. The historical persecutors of the Jews have been Christians — their punishment for the death of Jesus. Jews and Muslims have lived in peace for hundreds of years in many parts of the Islamic world. When Catholic Spain and Portugal expelled its Jews, the Ottoman sultan in Istanbul invited them in. It is the Palestinian issue that has ruined all this.

Of course, today Israel must defend itself. If the residents of Bendigo started firing rockets into Melbourne you would expect Melbourne to retaliate. But what must Melbourne have done to Bendigo to make them do such a thing? Constantly slapping an opponent in the face, kicking it down to its knees, and watching it struggle in the dirt will not teach the opponent to love or respect you. It teaches only hatred.

Persecuting people does not weaken them. Israel should know that. The Jews have been persecuted for centuries. It didn’t destroy them but gave them the impetus to survive.

One characteristic that is common among persecuted groups is a strong investment in education — when people’s physical wealth is in danger of destruction from war and persecution one store of wealth that stays with individuals even when they must flee as refugees is education. It explains why such groups often insist on their own schools — education is too important to be entrusted to others.

Hamas did not enjoy the support of all the people of Gaza. It does now. Why does Israel keep getting it wrong?

Trekking in Nepal is fashionable among young Israelis. So much so that many shops in Kathmandu and Pokhara have signs in Hebrew. But once you get on the trekking circuit and speak with local Nepalese guides and guesthouse operators you soon discover how disliked the Israelis are. Many guesthouses in this poor country will even tell Israeli trekking groups that they are full rather than accept them. This has nothing to do with religion or politics: Nepalese people are some of the warmest, most hospitable in the world. Rather, they say that the young Israelis are rude, arrogant, and argue over trifling amounts of money even though they clearly have means.
Israel needs to change. The Parsees of India might provide a model. The Parsees are a very tiny, very rich ethnic and religious minority. They own perhaps most of the land in central Mumbai as well as the country’s largest conglomerate. And yet ordinary Indians admire and respect them. Violence against them is unthinkable.

How have they achieved this? They are not flashy or arrogant. Their overriding characteristic is a deep interest in the welfare of others. They have established hospitals, libraries, schools, museums and many other institutions and, most importantly, not for the Parsee community exclusively but for everyone. So will Is-ra-el change? I highly doubt it, more than likely we will continue to see an escalation of violence from Is-ra-el upon it’s neighbors and a continuing land grab to whatever predetermined amout GOD told them they could have. You will see more and more American troops in the region and eventually full blown war in the middle east as the last of the rogue nations are toppled and the New World Order,One World Government is finalized.

Good people??? God’s people???

For those who haven’t seen these movies here are some quick plot summaries:

Rollerball: The year is 2018. There is no crime and there are no more wars. Corporations are now the leaders of the world, as well as the controllers of the people. A violent futuristic game known as Rollerball is now the recreational sport of the world, with teams representing various areas competing for the title of champion. The defending championship team, the Houston team led by the determined ten-year veteran Johnathan E., are looking to repeat as champions. However, Bartholomew, the sinister corporate head, wants Johnathan to retire, even though he is the most respected athlete of his time. Johnathan’s rebellious quest will not come out with complications, both for him and his teammates, after he decides to continue playing despite Bartholomew’s threats. The Running Man: The year is 2017. The world economy has collapsed. The United States has sealed off it’s borders and has become a military controlled police state which controls TV, movies, art, books, communication and censorship. In the police state America has become, criminals have a choice. They can serve their sentences in prison or they can take part in “The Running Man” a government owned violent game-show where contestants running for freedom are pursued by “Stalkers” wrestler-like bounty hunters. “The Running Man” is the top rating show on network TV and Damon Killian, the creator and host is the most popular entertainer in the US. But one man has yet to play… Former L.A. police officer Ben Richards, framed for the massacre of innocent people, when disobeyed orders is recaptured, after escaping from prison. Ben is forced to appear on “The Running Man”, joined by resistance fighters William Laughlin and Harold Weiss and Amber Mendez, (a network employee who Richards took hostage and she turned Richards into the authorities) are chased by The Stalkers, as they search for the secret base of the resistance, as they bid to broadcast the truth about the government and prove Ben’s innocence. In light of all the global economic crisis talk that has gripped the world as of late, the two movies share a dystopic view of our coming financial meltdown and of rule by corporations in a police state run society (to which I say we already reside). I spliced together scenes from both films into a short video entitled: The Future is Written

I chose certain scenes due to content and imagery. The opening for The Running Man (typos excluded) paints a grim picture and speaks to us far more today in 2009 than it did back in 1987. The Rollerball imagery of the corporate elite in their Luxury boxes and Corporate anthem are frighteningly similar to today’s Sports arenas across the United States. The masses cheering on the stalkers and believing anything that the media tells them…  need I to go there? Both of our protagonists face temptation by the system to sell out, as many do. Both movies continue the Hollywoodization for an individual that bucks the system to save all; continuing to dupe the masses into the, someone else but me will fix it. No single individual will save us, WE, being a group of individuals that see the problems and point out that the emperor is not wearing any clothes are the only chance for a better tommorow.

I’m in no way saying that these two movies are going to be, what will be. However we are headed for some rough times and the New World Order that is coming will probably have like similarities to the movies. Hell there are some programs on the air today that are close to what these movies have for ‘entertainment’ or will any day now. Public executions will likely have a come back in some form or another, maybe the Execution Network will come into being. For a bit of humor here is some Carlin on Execution:
